I know my updates are a bit slower now, but at least they’re getting published! I thought I’d be zooming through these last few chapters in anticipation of installing Ambitions and starting a fresh new challenge, but apparently not.

Iris starts the family off on the right foot for the week by making home made pancakes for the entire family, although Timmothy will need to reheat his when he gets up. It’s a good thing that all of Hazel’s daughters are more practical than she is.

 

Iris probably has the easiest job of the family. She gets to concentrate on things like watching Cooking Cable. Eventually she’ll return to fishing and take up gardening as well.

In case you thought I was letting Immortelle off the blond hook in the last shot, she’s stuck gardening when she’d rather be tinkering or making friends.

 

I’m not totally evil, this is Ivy’s “reward”. Hey! She wants to, honest!

 

Hazel’s getting much better at this, can’t wait until she can kiss the snake!

 

Timmothy got sent to the library to work on Charisma. He finished reading when I wasn’t looking and decided to work on charisma in his own way. Good sim!

Apparently Hazel made plans to meet up with Esther at the local gym. I can’t say as I blame her, working out is slightly less tedious if you can gossip (or attempt to) while doing it.

 

Despite the fact that they’re cousins, and Sameh and his family have always been invited to the family’s parties, somehow Iris and he have never met. Strange, huh?

 

I have a feeling that no matter which girl becomes heiress, she’ll end up marrying an older man.

 

Hazel’s workouts have definitely done the trick! Looking good hon.

Err, Immortelle? I’m glad that you’re getting into the gardening, but it turns out you may not be the heiress.

Well, you see, I thought it was only fair to let people vote again now that they’d seen you all as teens, and I won’t know who the heiress is for another few days…

 

This is a horrible thing to say, but I’m glad we don’t have any men this generation. I mean, if that’s her mother, imagine her in a couple of years.

I decided that it was time for Hazel to have a slightly softer look. Not too old fashioned, just a bit less Halloween.

 

Sometimes Sims do the stupidest things. There are four desks up here. You’ll notice that Iris is the only one using a desk. Why? Because she was the first one up here and therefore took the desk that both of her sisters wanted. Heaven forbid they should take any of the other three identical desks.

 

“Yeah Man! Birthday!”

I wouldn’t be so excited Timmothy, this isn’t the same as switching from Young Adult to Adult after all.

 

“Eww! I’m all wrinkly and old and stuff.”

I feel rather bad for Immortelle. Those of you who guessed that I was aiming her at Tinkerer were right. I’m sure she’d love the Ambitions expansion pack, but no matter how much I want to play with it, I’m not going to install it until I finish this legacy.

 

I really don’t understand getting excited about becoming an elder…

Timmothy is now ready to start attempting to break space rocks.

 

Amazing! He managed it on only his second attempt!

 

Despite the fact that I had to basically drag Hazel into seriously working out, she’s managed to reach level 10 and has now developed such a fitness fetish that she wants to work out for 8 straight hours.

 

Ugh! Daredevil sims!

 

This is the first ever fish that I have allowed Iris to place in a fish bowl. I only did because the vampire fish look like Plechos, and I love Plechos! By the way, for those who haven’t already discovered this, putting fish into the large aquarium does not satisfy the place fish in fishbowl want, you have to put them in the tiny one.

Today is the girls’ last day of teenhood. I’d love to just give them the day to laze around, but instead they’re working on some of their hobbies, although at least they’re hobbies they enjoy. (Oops, their birthday is Sunday)

 

That makes three skills that Timmothy has mastered. I like him much more than the usual spouses.

 

Never let it be said that my sims don’t know the meaning of the word balance. Just because they spend most of their time working on skills that are useful to their career tracks doesn’t mean that they never do anything just for the sheer pleasure of it.
