The results for the heiress competition are in. With the round two votes weighted for two points it was still a close race. Iris won with 34 votes, Ivy had 32 votes in 2nd place and Immortelle (our previous winner) had 31 votes.

I don’t have anything against plump sims in theory. It’s more of a personal loathing issue. See I use to be a size 9 (I think that’s about an american size 7). Nowadays I’m about a size 16 (probably an american 14) because I never lost the baby weight from my third pregnancy. The worst part is that I now that if I started doing some extreme cardio for 30 minutes a day I could lose all the weight, but I just can’t seem to get the oomph to get started.

There are martial arts objects at the gym (I built the gym since the town didn’t come with one). I used the debugbuy cheat to place them. No worries about actual cheating though since I just added exercise machines and martial arts objects two chapters ago, long after my sims had these things at home. In fact, my sims have never even used the training dummy or the board breaker at the gym.

I do love my gems! I was working towards getting every cut of every gem, but my gem sim died…

The bubble bath… Some of it was bought, and then my sims started fishing it up from the depths, and I think some of it may have even been found at dig sites or tombs, but I can’t remember for sure anymore.

TODAY is the birthday of the triplets. Finally. By 8 am everyone except Timmothy is up and busy.

Immortelle has developed a sudden interest in socializing, so she’s getting some tips on being charismatic from a book at the library.

As the newly chosen heiress, it is Iris’ duty to learn to garden, not that I think she’ll mind much. She also wants to improve her cooking skills a bit this afternoon at the library.

Hazel, Hellebore, and Ivy are spending the day together at the gym. It’s amazing how much time Hellebore spends here. Whenever someone from our household goes to the gym, she’s there.

Timmothy just loves to meditate. His current goal is to meditate for a total of 48 hours. This would be much easier if meditation froze needs as it did in Sims 2, but I actually like it this way better.

Err, no. One, the female occupying this bed is your niece, and two, James sleeps there, now go take a shower or a bath like you usually do.

Ivy doesn’t work today, but since she was up at 3 am anyway, she’s been sent to the library to study airplane mechanics.

Hazel has been granted a morning at the park with no commands from me. I think she’s prepping for being a grandmother. That may take awhile though. Usually Iris would be pregnant already, but since the birth of this baby equals the end of the legacy, I’m going to wait until the girls have all achieved their LTW’s.

James and Immortelle are spending the day working on their logic skills together. He and Immortelle are already friends, but there’s nothing wrong with strengthening that relationship. I may have to keep an eye on James though. I just noticed that he’s got two other romantic interests.

Unfortunately Iris’ boss is one of James’ romantic interests. This could get tricky. Thank Maxis that he’s not home at the moment.

Good! She never realized that Iris is James’ new wife! Time to send her on her way now that we’ve gotten what we want from her, James could be home any second and that would be bad.

I love how easy it is to fulfill the skill challenges for gardening! Just keep gardening every day, no special attention required!

James, you have disappointed me. You somehow managed to miss getting promoted by such a small amount that I can’t even see it on the meter, and you’re not good enough friends with your boss yet to ask for a promotion.

Iris’ rise through the ranks isn’t quite as quick as Ivy’s but she’s making progress.

The great thing about these little repair jobs is that allow Immortelle to do her two favorite things in the world, tinker, and make new friends.

Ivy on the other hand is all about staying buffed.

As for Iris, it’s all about the cooking, whether it’s learning new techniques by watching tv, growing better produce, or catching the freshest fish possible, it all comes back to cooking.

I think Iris is finally getting the hang of this whole promotion thing.
