Week 31 - This House Is Haunted

 

Day 211 – Sunday

 

Grrrr. Let the children sleep already!

 

Twice in one night. Argh!

 

ROFL! A ghost sitting on a couch being possessed by another ghost! I’ve never seen this one before, and I’m sure it will necessitate the use of resetsim on at least one of the ghosts to get rid of them during the daylight hours.

 

Child sims always seem to be obsessed with Logic/Chess/Telescopes.

 

Scott needs fun before he starts writing some more. He’s very close to L10.

 

Chloe should be working on her masterpiece, but of course, she needs fun too.

 

Chloe’s decided to abandon Scott for the day. We’re hoping that writing at the library will help speed up this novel. BTW, the swing sets turned out to be unusable because they’re under a roof. I don’t really care at the moment since they help raise the value of the lot.

 

Cranky Scott, but at least he’s mastered writing.

Lois has been asked to upgrade her sister’s radio this morning. Yeah, yeah, it’s not under a roof. It’s not like we’re keeping it, I just plopped it down randomly for her to work on.

 

Wondering about the lack of story/pictures? Here’s why. This is it pretty much all day everyday. In the evening the kids do their homework at the table too. There’s just not much to tell.

 

Jarod’s a great big brother, and now he’s a useful one as well.

Day 214 – Wednesday

 

Yes, little Catherine has already achieved her LTW. What was it? Swimming in Cash. Just selling off some celebrity gifts.

 

We thought we’d do something different today, pre-school catch!

 

See? Best big brother ever!

 

Day 215 – Thursday

 

Geez. I thought she’d be happy that she finished it, not to mention the promotion.

“It wasn’t a best seller.”

Yeah, but it was a hit. Plus, $9K/wk royalties.

 

Well that’s just great.

 

Day 216 – Friday

 

More daytime haunting. I’m getting sick of reseting them. Maybe I’ll just ignore the ghosts for now and see if they’ll leave on their own.

 

Hmm, maybe the plethora of active day time ghosts will come in handy. Do you ladies do laundry?

 

It’s nice of you to visit Oliver, but it would be nicer if you’d actually interact with your nieces and nephew.

 

My writers always look so miserable. Scott is actually ecstatic, he’s accomplished his LTW.

Day 217 – Saturday

 

More daytime haunting. I’m very excited because now that there are no longer any toddlers the family can be out and about, not to mention taking advantage of the moodlets available at certain venues.

 

First things first, Jarod needs to secure a romantic partner before SP pairs everyone up. Latricia is one of the few female teens that Jarod isn’t related to, plus, she’s very pretty!

 

Good, good, now make sure she agrees to go steady.

 

There, now they’ll stop bugging me about it. Gotta remember to turn that table around later though.

 

Chloe and Scott get to go write at the library, which I still haven’t managed to get up to level 2. It’s quite difficult with the Architecture restrictions in place.

 

Brigitte gets to spend a bit of time painting. Having athletic lifted rocks. I can constantly rearrange the house to suit current usage.

After two weeks of building, this is as far as the family has gotten on the planned mansion. It’s kind of sad, isn’t it? Worse yet, they’ve got more than $300K in the bank, but they’re unable to spend it either here or at the library.
