I blink my eyes and the moment is over
I guess another day has passed

And Emily they come and go
The shadows and the distant sounds
But Emily don’t be afraid
When the weight of angels weighs you down

Week 25 – Nowhere Fast

Will I ever get to where I’m going?
Will I ever follow through with what I had planned.
I guess it’s possible that I have been a bit distracted
and the directions for me are a lot less in demand.

Week 24 – Yesterday’s Papers

Living a life of constant change
every day means the turn of a page
yesterdays papers are such bad news

Week 23 – The Thief in The Night

As I awaken
Born from the slums and taken
Through the ritual, childhood, puberty, adulthood, maturity
And mastery of me
And my surroundings counting down the days till I’m exposed,
I hear it move swiftly underneath the nose
Till one day you’re face to face you’re gonna cross the line
You’re lost for time
Life lose diminished
Heart beat finished replenish
Now you can be one with the light
But when it comes it’ll come like a thief in the night

When the road looks rough ahead
And you’re miles and miles
From your nice warm bed
Just remember what your old pal said

Week 21 – Be True To Your School

When some loud braggart tries to put me down
And says his school is great
I tell him right away
“Now what’s the matter buddy
Ain’t you heard of my school
It’s number one in the state”

Week 20 – It’s Getting Hectic

It’s getting hectic, it’s getting crazy
I’ts getting hectic, it’s getting wild

Week 19 – Get A Job

Get a job Sha na na na, sha na na na na

Week 18 – When Life’s on Hold

Can you tell me,
where’s the story going?
What is the ending?
‘Cuz I’m starting to question all of these.
I’ve been waiting, for a happy ending.
But nothing’s beginning, so tell me now.
